Happy New Year! Amazing Marketing Stats to Start 2012 Right

January 6th, 2012 by

Love me some Hubspot. They always have such interesting blog posts.

This week I got sucked into reading “25 Eye-Popping Internet Marketing Statistics for 2012.”

How can you pass up a title like that?

According to their numbers, mobile marketing is going to be key for 2012, with 11 of the 25 offered “eye-poppers” pertaining to that category. My favorite? “Mobile internet users will reach 113.9 million in 2012, up 17.1% from 97.3 million in 2011.”

We have a joke saying around here: “The Internet is going to be huge.” With more than 3/4 of the total US population online in 2012 (another eye-popper), we can check that one off the list.  According to this article, it looks like we should amend that to say “The Mobile Internet is going to be huge.” And even more so this year.

Even better, “88.1% of US internet users ages 14+ will browse or research products online in 2012.” We knew the numbers had to be huge – see Google’s ZMOT push – but that is amazing.

Which of course raises the question(s): what are you doing to make sure that you’re ready for all those eyeballs? Are your websites optimized so that they can find you? Are they mobile-ready?

If not, it’s a good time to start! Going forward, we’ll cover some best practices. Stay tuned!

Success with Auto Finance Leads – ongoing series on Carloanco.com

September 10th, 2010 by

We’ve got a lot of good things going on here at IFMG, and recently we’ve been adding some highlights from our Carloan.com dealer network partners to our blog over on Carloanco.com.

To date, we’ve profiled AutoDrive1 in Massachusetts and Haley Ford, right here in Richmond. They’ve been seeing some astonishing ROI numbers from our marketing programs, and one of them, AutoDrive1, has even gone so far as to build their daily activity around our auto finance leads. As a result, they’ve been able to grow their business dramatically.

It’s all great stuff, if I do say so myself (full disclosure: I wrote the blog posts and the bulk of the accompanying profiles).

Check ‘em out and let us know what you think!
